I was meeting a friend at Pan Africa Market but I didn't know exactly where it was. Nonetheless, as I was turning the corner on Pike and 1st I smelled the most wonderful scent, with my nose leading the way I found Pan Africa. The place was very colorful and the staff greeted me right away. The waiter Sampson suggested the Chicken Piri Piri, unfamiliar with African food, I tried it. It was soooo good!!! I could not believe it! A tender juicy chicken breast with a spicy green sauce on a bed of red potatoes with a side of a tropical salad, pineapple, mango, apples, and baby greens. MMMMMMMMM! I have not been able to stop talking about this place plus the atmosphere...very African feel with all the wood carvings...definetly a great place to taste worldly cuisine!

My wife and I happened upon Pan Africa while in Seattle recently and we decided to take a "risk" and try dishes from Ethiopia. What happened next will remain as a wonderful memory for the rest of our lives. We both agreed that we had two of the most fantastic dishes we have ever experienced. It would be unfair to reveal the dishes only because I am convinced that all of the dishes are equally delicious. The waitress was warm and friendly and very helpful to a couple of "rookies". Thank-you for providing us a great opportunity to try something different. Dick and Judy Crane
